John Davis
Managing Member
Prior to founding The KDL Group LLC in 2004, and after graduating from the University of Virginia Engineering School, John spent 13 years acquiring experience in the design and construction of large planned developments in Loudoun County and Prince William County. John worked for a large civil engineering firm and several well-known land developers in the Northern Virginia area. This is where he first recognized the need for a better engineering firm. His vision for a better firm included an atypical business structure where talented engineers were allowed to manage each individual project, thereby eliminating needless bureaucracy and wasted time, ultimately saving the client money and frustration. The formation of The KDL Group LLC was the culmination of a lot of hard work and belief in the vision. John’s enthusiasm continues to drive KDL into the future as the operation continues to expand.
John holds a BSCE from the University of Virginia and is a licensed professional engineer in Virginia.
